- Provide, operate and maintain the Services (including license activation and sync).
- Process payments and issue invoices.
- Respond to support requests and send service notices.
- Improve and develop new features and perform analytics.
- Comply with legal and tax obligations.
4. Legal Basis
Where applicable, our lawful bases for processing include performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests (e.g. improving the service, fraud prevention), and consent where required by law.
5. Sharing & Third Parties
We may share data with:
- Payment processors (to process payments).
- Hosting and cloud providers (to store data and run the service).
- Support and analytics providers (to help maintain and improve the Services).
- Authorities if required by law (e.g. tax or law enforcement requests).
We require third parties to use reasonable security measures and process data only for the purposes we authorize.
6. International Transfers
Data may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your own. Where required by law, we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
7. Retention
We retain personal data as long as necessary to provide the Services, meet legal obligations (such as tax record-keeping) and resolve disputes. Transaction and accounting records are retained for the statutory period required by local law.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. However, no system is completely secure — if you suspect a breach, contact us immediately at charmingbrains.it@gmail.com.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction of processing and objection. To exercise your rights, contact us at charmingbrains.it@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on requests.
10. Cookies & Tracking
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to improve user experience. These are not required for the core POS application to function.
11. Children
Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if we learn we have done so we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. For material changes we will provide notice via the email on file or via the Services. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
