Terms & Conditions

Welcome to QuickTill. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the QuickTill software, services, websites and related documentation (collectively, the “Services”). By installing, accessing or using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Company” — QuickTill (the licensor and operator of the Services).
  • “You/User” — the individual or business using the Services.
  • “License” — the permission granted to use the software as described below.

2. License Grant

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, QuickTill grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the QuickTill application for your internal business purposes only. You may not sublicense, resell, or redistribute the software except as expressly permitted in a separate written agreement.

3. Trial and Activation

We may offer a trial period for evaluation. Trial access is time-limited and may be revoked at any time. Purchased licenses are activated using an electronic activation token (JWT). You are responsible for safeguarding your activation token. QuickTill may revoke or suspend tokens in cases of fraud, non-payment, or violation of these Terms.

4. Payments, Fees & Refunds

All fees are specified during checkout. Payment methods supported include Ecocash, OneMoney and card payments. If you purchase a license you must pay the full license fee. Refunds are handled according to the policy shown at purchase; generally there are no refunds for digital activation once a license has been issued, except where required by law. 5. Support & Maintenance

Support is provided according to the plan you purchase. QuickTill may provide bug fixes, updates and new releases. We are not liable for compatibility issues arising from third-party hardware or software (e.g. receipt printers, payment terminals) unless explicitly stated in your plan.

6. Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate account information and secure access credentials.
  • Ensure local data backups where required — QuickTill may provide sync but you are responsible for your sales and inventory records.
  • Use the Services in compliance with applicable laws and with respect to consumer protection, tax and payment regulations.

7. Restrictions

You must not: reverse-engineer the software; remove copyright notices; copy or distribute the software beyond the licensed scope; use the Service to commit illegal acts; or interfere with QuickTill infrastructure.

8. Intellectual Property

QuickTill and its licensors retain all rights, title and interest in the Services and all related intellectual property. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

9. Warranties & Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuickTill disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickTill will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability for direct damages will not exceed the fees paid by you for the Services in the six (6) months prior to the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold QuickTill harmless from any claim, liability or expense arising from your misuse of the Services, breach of these Terms, or violation of applicable law.

12. Termination

QuickTill may suspend or terminate your access for breach of the Terms, non-payment, or unlawful activity. On termination you must stop using the software and remove it from your systems; license revocation will disable activated copies.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will provide advance notice via the email on file or through the application. Continued use after notice indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
